Since its beginning in 1987, the MSA Scholarship Foundation has awarded 1,300+ scholarships totaling over $1,000,000 to accounting students.
The Maryland Society of Accountants Scholarship Foundation, Inc. offers scholarships to students majoring in accounting or related fields, such as business administration with an accounting concentration. Scholarships are awarded based on completed applications submitted by the specified deadlines: January 15th and June 15th each year.
Application and Award Timeline
June 15th Deadline:
Fall Semester Award: Applicants who submit by June 15th will be considered for the fall semester. The first half of the scholarship is awarded during this semester.
Renewal Process: The second half of the scholarship is contingent upon the completion of the renewal process.
January 15th Deadline:
Spring Semester Award: Applicants who submit between June 16th and January 15th will be considered for the spring semester. These students must re-apply by June 15th for the following fall semester.

Scholarship Amounts
Full-Time Students: Maximum scholarship amount is $2,500 ($1,250 per semester).
Part-Time Students: Maximum scholarship amount is $1,250 ($625 per semester).
